Heal The Foundation Project

The Heal the foundation project is one of BlissWin educational programmes designed by the Saving Hand Development Initiative (SHADE-IN) to assist in the improvement of the Nigerian system through seminars and independent learning. It is born out of the desire to help Nigerian students understand the basic concepts in Science and  Technology which will in turn improve the creativity of Nigerians to be self-dependent and  fight the dangerous disease called poverty.

Science and Technology as we know is the bedrock of development of any nation. Most of our Nigerian universities at present lack the technical know how to drive student’s interest into modern innovations.

Through global partnership for development, most universities from the developed part of the world have engaged the Open Courseware Programme (OCW) to assist students and potential leaders all around the world. “The idea is simple: to publish all course materials online and make them widely available to everyone” it is a web-based publication of virtually all course content.

Saving Hand Development Initiative make available these video materials on DVDs for free to create the awareness of the availability of the materials online and to encourage independent learning among students. They are simply materials on Science and Engineering especially for the 100 level students which is the foundation level of our post-secondary school education. We have made selections from the best universities in the world which includes MIT, Stanford and other Universities.
